Accessibility Comments

This is a very neat little app that works nicely with VoiceOver. The only quirk is that when you re-arrange your news sources. It will not tell you exactly where you have moved it. However, you can move things around. It just may take a bit to get them where you want it. When listening to new sources, just use the 3-fingered swipe to the left or right to move between them. The number of sources will depend upon how many you have enabled in Settings, but VoiceOver will tell you that you are on page 3 of 6, etc.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling

All buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver and is easy to navigate and use.

This version now allows the VoiceOver users to re-arrange your news sources. In previous version you were unable to do this. The only downside of this is that when you double tap and hold to move. There will be no sound or indicator of where you are placing the source with in the list So another word if I am moving the CBS and want to place this above the BBC. It won't tell you that you have gone above the BBC source. It takes some practice but it is very easy to do. So this is a welcoming new feature for VO users. What's New in Version 1.6.2 ◊ Bug fixes

What's New in Version 1.6.3 ◊ Added an "Exclude Played Episodes" feature that will skip the podcast episode if it has already been heard. ◊ Fixed a bug where the app would crash with no podcast sources enabled and could not be opened again. ◊ Fixed a bug where custom source addition could continually ask for upgrade in some rare cases. ◊ Removed the initial auto-subscription to NPR and BBC podcasts on first launch. ◊ Minor bug fixes and optimizations
