This app is completely inaccessible. This is a shame. The app has a lot of potential. I think the developer of this app should be made aware of the needs of VoiceOver users.

I downloaded this app and discovered a big fat nothing. With all due respect to all who are working on accessibility issues, I think we are failing to get to the roots of these issues. Trying to attack accessibility one app at a time is banging our collective heads against a wall. There have got to be a few specific patterns of development that lead to an accessible app, some others that lead to one that is completely inaccessible, and still others that lead to one that's somewhere in between. The "Tips And Tricks" apps are in this latter category, with VoiceOver reading the tables of contents but not the text in each chapter. What there needs to be, is a section added to the existing accessibility guide, which clearly identifies these patterns. A developer may test their app, discover it does not work at all with VoiceOver, yet have no idea why, or what to do to change the situation. It's not enough to merely make them aware of our needs. They need clear ideas of what strategies of development might have caused the "big fat nothing", or the text within chapters to be unreadable. Every developer has his/her own programming style, which could even include using automated code generation tools, a style which he/she has been accustomed to for years, which might unknowingly produce non-speaking apps. Without access to the source code of an app, or at minimum, some documentation of its development process, none of us can draw any conclusions as to what caused it to be inaccessible and what needs changing. And it is such conclusions we *NEED* in order to make constructive suggestions for improvement when an app comes along which is inaccessible.

I recently downloaded this app and of-course found it completely inaccessible. I was very disappointed as I had high hopes for the app. I am currently studying music technology at a college in Liverpool and have had a lot of experience of this kind of thing where software is concerned. I was so dismayed that I rote a review on the app store. Here's what I rote. "I recently downloaded this app because I am interested in music technology and making music, I was also very excited about features that this app offered and how it might help me in composition and other projects. I downloaded the light version, opened it,and discovered that it was completely inaccessible with the voice over screen reader on the iPhone. Being blind, I use voice over to have the same level of access to apps as sighted people. I was dismayed to see that this app was inaccessible, because there are other music apps that work very well with voice over, and thankfully the number of inaccessible and flash based apps is dwindling. This is the most fully featured music sequencing app that I have seen so far, and I would urge the developer to take accessibility seriously and include at least some voice over support in a future update. There is a large blind community out there, and this would be really, really appreciated by them and me. Sorry to waffle on, but it has to be said. It frustrates me, when the blind community is left behind when so many of us have a talent in music but cannot get the access we need to software like this." I would be interested to know peoples thoughts on this, as I feel this app has a lot of potential.

There are loads of apps I would lov: to be able to use. FLStudio HD from IMMEAGELine would be one of them. they have been creating the desktop version of Frootyloops studio for years. It would be a good tool to have in my musical toolbox and you can never have too many of those as I always like to say. The Windows version is inaccessible as it always have been. I doubt that it even is on the Mac, and I don't know if I'm going to even try. It's totally iniccessible on the iPhone. If you swipe somewhere hoping to touch a controll you'll get total silence. Because I just read the post on this app here, I'm also disipointed in this one as well. I was so hoping that it was accessable to use. I honestly hate using Garageband on iOs for a few reasons. I cannot move riejons of audio easily like I want. You can move them alright, but it's not consistand. I use it now for recording vocals but that's it. After that, I export the project to the Mac, and from there to something else. I would like to create my own APP for all of my and probably others Studio editing needs. I would like to create something like this one but that ... will be totally accessable with VoiceOver from the ground up. I'm a Sonar with Caketalking JAWS scripts user and I'd love to have an app that is that accessable as DancingDots made their JFW Scripts made it for a great iOs app for all blind muzitions and recording artists like myself
