Eter: Streaming Internet Radio

Category

Description of App

Eter Radio is an app for listening to Internet radio stations. Eter Radio is available in a universal version for macOS, iOS, iPadOS, watchOS and tvOS.
Eter Radio uses the publicly available radio-browser.info database, which contains a collection of free and publicly available Internet radio stations.
Eter for iOS, iPadOS and macOS offers a hand-crafted list of recommended stations and the ability to search radio-browser.info for other radio stations. To be able to add them to your list, you must unlock the program with a one-time In-App Purchase. (The price in the App Store may vary depending on the country and the local currency rate).
Use Eter for free to listen as long as you like to any station you like (in the radio-browser database) on any Apple device, including in your car with CarPlay.
Upgrade Eter with a single one-time in-app purchase to:
- Save favorite stations so you don’t have to search each time.
- Hide the recommended stations & just see your own list.
- Set a sleep timer to drift off to calming tunes from anywhere in the world.
- Support the continued development of this app.

Greetings. If you mean automatically displaying the song name on the screen when something is playing or asking Siri about it, then yes to both. I always see the name of the song which is being played on the screen.

I'm 99% sure it doesn't. It doesn't require microphone permissions which would be needed. If you could please contact the developer and request this it would be nice. It would also be nice if when identifying the song with Shazam if Voiceover would read out the result.

Why don't you test it yourself if you have Shazam installed? I don't have it, and the app itself is free for such a test. Once you test it with Shazam, we can ask the dev for additional support.

Shazam is not supported..

So I'll ask the dev. It doesn't matter to me as I don't use Shazam and Siri always does the job, but Shazam support, if added, would be a nice bonus.

Thanks I appreciate it. it would also nice if voiceover would out the result when it appears on screen. Hopefully this dev is responsive. It appears they respond to reviews.
