http://www.applevis.com/app-directory/music/airfoil-speakers-touch requires you to keep your computer running and to set up what you want to stream from it through airfoil which costs for windows and mac. Although the app its self is free, you can't do anything with it unless you buy airfoil. I have the mac version and I have airfoil speakers touch but with all the other stuff I can do, I find I don't really need them. I'm fine with the arangement, but you need to know before you grab the app and the demo of airfoil that there are easier and free ways to accomplish what you want on the iphone/touch.

Hello, as soon Iread about thi sI was intrigue, as I did say before, I am not to be honest that good with all this stuff even though except the fact that I don't own a apple computer but some day I hope to do so I have a piles of apple divises, so I just want to make sure I understand this so I will give you just one simple scenario and if you would be kind enough to tell me if I am on the right track.
ok I have a pc window 7 and of course I have the wi fi and it is working because I use my ipod touch anywhere in the house and the mini ipad 2 to name those 2. so let's say I listen an album purchase from the itune store on the pc using the itune program, and let say in the living room I have my ipod touch on a table and my regular stero is there too of course and I have bought one of those 30 dollars or so no expensive bluetooth reciever to make my stereo blue tooth friendly right?
so so far I would let say use my ipod touch with the bluetooth turn on and I would pair it with the reciever of my stereo and the sound is really great, so are you saying that I could listen an album on the pc wich is in the back of the house and at the same time the wi fi signal would send the sound to the ipod touch in the living room at the front of the house and of course if the answer is yes I could have the sound coming out of my big stereo, that would be so cool is that what you meant?
because if it is a big yes than it also mean that in the summe rtown I could at the same time on the front dec outside, the signal do work because I tryed it last summer so I could put my mini ipad on the dec ona table and get my monster speaker blue tooth speaker and again the sound of the album that come from the pc would some how go in the mini ipad and I would have the divise connecrted to the outside speaker by blue tooth with the monster
is that you meant?
wow quite something if it is yes I am trying it tomorrow for sure, I will check the pc see if I have a answer. thank you very much.
