Other Comments

This app is developed to make the universal communication.
Especially, it makes smooth communication with people with hearing disability.

In Japan, this is used as the professional tool for transcription of the speaker's content at the lecture, or making the subtitles at the conference.

I think that this is also amazing tool for blind people.
It helps to comuunicate between deaf and blind or to transcribe from the speaker.

Some text labels are displayed in Japanese, but does not bother you.

There are subscription service for business account and add-on.

Let me introduce how to use in free plan.

---- Start talking ----
1. On the main screen, double tap "Begin Talk" button.

2. Double tap "tap to talk" button, located on the middle of bottom line.
It starts recording and displays the transcription on the screen.
Before recording, I recommend to mute the VoiceOver by 3-finger double tap.

3. Double tap "tap to stop" button, it's the same button of "tap to talk".

4. You can read the transcribed text by VoiceOver's voice and braille.
The latest text is the end of time-line.
It's easy to find the place by
1-finger swipe left from "Mute translate".

There are buttons:
"Mute translate" to translate between two languages.
"Mute speech" to speak out the transcription.
VoiceOver can not speak its on or off.

---- Talk Settings ----
On the Talk screen, there is "menu" button, located top right end.
You can share the transcription,
clear the transcription,
language setting for the translation,
register words,
and etc.

It will be helpful to play the sound when you start and stop the talk.
It's in the Talk Settings.

From what I understand; this app. will be used by people who wish to communicate with people with hearing disability and this app. makes it possible. I wish there was an app. that could do vice versa where gestures by the HOH person can be displayed on the users screen in text or be read out in speech

Yes, this app makes smooth communication especially with a person with hearing disability.
It works for deaf-blind people, I think.

Instead of speaking to microphone, people can type by the keyboard also.
