The app was shaped by a very concrete requirement: allowing blind and visually impaired people to check prayer times, receive alerts, and find the Qibla through an interface that truly works with VoiceOver. That accessibility standard informs the whole product, without making the app feel specialized or narrow: Eden Qibla is also carefully refined visually, so it remains fluid, coherent, and polished for everyone.
Prayer Times
The main view highlights today’s prayers, the next upcoming event, and the remaining time. Essential information is presented calmly and in a logical order, whether you need a quick glance or a more deliberate reading.
Notifications
Eden Qibla lets you configure the reminders that matter in daily use: prayers, before-Fajr alerts, before-sunrise alerts, distinct sounds, and quick tests. Notifications can use short sounds suited to iOS, while the full adhan can be played from the app when the selected sound supports it.
Widget
The iPhone widget shows the next event and countdown without requiring you to open the app. It is designed to remain visually discreet while keeping VoiceOver concise.
Qibla
Qibla guidance is available from the main screen. It focuses on direct information: direction, alignment, appropriate feedback, and a readable interface, with particular care given to VoiceOver.
Accessibility
