Description of App
Tempdrop is the first of its kind - a personalized user specific thermometer that learns minute temperature variations, correlated with hormonal fluctuations throughout the ovulatory cycle (e.g. Estrogen, Progesterone), thus identifying recurring temperature patterns up to 5 days before ovulation.
This app is communicating with your Tempdrop sensor via Bluetooth 4.0 and sends the data for analysis on our cloud algorithm server. Your characteristic sleeping temperature will be displayed shortly after.
Accessibility Comments
The app itself is very accessible and straight forward. I'd like to take a minute to talk about the device though.
The device itself is shaped like a teardrop, worn under the arm on its included armband. On the point of the teardrop is a rubber button, used both for syncing the device, and powering it on before use.
To initiate a sync session, or power on the device before sleeping, you will have to press this button until the device blinks. I managed to figure out about how long to press it by using a light detector. I find I hold the button and count to five, saying one one thousand, two one thousand, three one thousand, etc. until I get to five, then the device will work. The same thing hold true for syncing. You will also know it's syncing because the app will switch from "searching" to "syncing".
