Accessibility Comments

The game can be played with VoiceOver on or off. You have to plan your moves carefully but all you have to do is swipe and double-tap in order to carry them out. Though you will most likely need to tap three times with three fingers to enable/toggle accessibility mode upon first launch. At least this is what I had to do and the developer could unfortunately not provide clear instructions on that so I had to figure it out myself. Auto-enabling accessibility mode if VoiceOver was detected to be enabled, was yet another thing I suggested, but the developer told me it would cause some issues. As for why not all but most page elements are announced properly by VoiceOver, it is because you can't double tap the World Map option on the main screen. I asked the developer why, to which (s)he responded that everything that was shown there, could already be viewed on the diplomacy screen. There may be some other things that we can't access with VoiceOver but the app is quite usable overall.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads most page elements.

Button Labeling

Most buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

There are some minor accessibility issues with this app, but they are easy to deal with.

Other Comments

Don't really know why this wonderful game and others by this developer (iGindis) have not yet made it to this website, but I am happy to be sharing WorldEmpire2027 with everyone. I have been in touch with the developer for no longer than a couple of weeks but we have already exchanged dozens of e-mails so far and the developer appears quite interested to know how the game can be made even more convenient for visually-impaired players. As of now, many issues, including duplicate options, have already been reported to the developer by me and some have already been fixed with the latest update. I can personally tell the developer is doing his/her best to fix any issue reported to him/her, and implement the suggestions (s)he receives. I offered some suggestions like receiving notifications for multiplayer events directly on the device, multiple save slots, and new VoiceOver gestures to jump to the top or bottom of the screen and go back without having to choose the back button, all of which will likely be implemented in the future. Oh by the way, my player ID is 742440.

Hey, all. I’ve been experiencing lots of problems with the ads, especially because I thought that when you purchased something, you will automatically become premium, and that you will be playing at free. At least that was what happened when I previously played. No it’s completely annoying, It’s really an ad return and that’s impossible to play. And also, I don’t think that the price for the ad removal thing is fair. Over here, it cost about $15 take out. It does not fit him well in my head.

Hey, all again, I’ve been noticing a really horrible bug on the missions tab, that is, if you click over the description of the mission or something like that, by accident, obviously because Game is swiping all the way, the mission becomes unavailable level for you to keep researching on it. Can someone please alert the developer about this one? I’ve been trying to do so for a long time ago with no result. Thank you.

The developer welcomes accessibility feedback and has fixed several bugs reported by me and others. I will also have to request that you clarify your point.
