Description of App

Worder is a challenging word game which tests your ability to find words within a set of nine letters.

Worder requires no internet connection and is great for plane flights, commuting on subways and remote travel destinations.

The object of the game is to make as many words as possible.. and find the one word using all nine letters too.

Worder has no timers, explosions or music, just sit down for a relaxing game of Worder.. playing at your own pace.

Worder includes many game options, including a "Shared Letter" mode where all words should include the highlighted letter, or standard mode that allows you to use all letters.

The minimum word length for a game can also be selected, which can limit the number of words that need to be found.

Worder also includes 6 difficulty levels, so that Worder can cater for those who are intimidated by games with large word sets, to those people who are word game experts. Level 6 includes all words, where lower levels include a subset of the entire word list, based on how commonly words are used in everyday language/text.

You can challenge your friends by sending your current game for them to play. See if they can beat your score.

Reviews:
"If your looking for a good word game that's simple to use with no frills then buy this. I love the simplicity of it and main reason for my purchase. Sometimes I want to play a quiet word game without all the glitz and noise and this one I can play peacefuly. I haven't any problems using it and find the words ok but you will find word variations in any word game. Tried the free version first before I decided. I recommend this to all. Nice game Peter!"

"It's on my first page. It's my favorite 'go to app.' Never get's old"

"This game is so fun I could play it all day"

"Thank you for the update, the game is now excellent. I don't know how you managed to control the difficulty level of word choices, but you've done it! We are on level 5 (out of 6) and the words are challenging but there's not a single obscure word (many games, including the two I mention next, have problems with words no one has ever heard or seen). My wife and I play this often, it's now our favorite word game, alongside of Wurdle (boggle) and Lexitron (anagrams)."

"Simple and so enjoyable! Well-designed. I'm very happy I found this."

I really love this game but did contact the developer because after extended play (40 words or so) the letters voice over reads are not the ones that get entered into the current word. For instance it says e and puts in A. If I close the app and come back later it works again. I am tapping the screen not an attached keyboard. I also suggested that a little positive sound when a word is correct would be appreciated. Now the only way to know if the word was accepted is to go to the Found list and see if the number increased. It is easier now that I have the tactile screen protector since there is a raised dot at the enter button and the Found category. Actually I wish Touch Target had the same rules as Worder since the accessibility on that game is just about perfect but it only allows a 4 letter minimum word length and you must include the target letter. I prefer the Worder rules. I did receive a letter from the developer saying they would take my recommendations under consideration.

Hello everyone. I just got the Worder game, from the app store, earlier today, and I must say i find it a bit on the confusing side. First off, it seems like there is a lot of content on the screen to wade through, and I'm not quite certain of what the best ways to navigate it are. I've figured out where the New Game, Resume Game, etc buttons are, I think the letters which voice as "buttons" are the letters you have to derive the words from, etc, but to me, at least, it doesn't seem as clear and concise as it should be. Second, when I go into the Configuration section, I see all the buttons, but at times it seems as though stuff doesn't remain in the same place. For example, you should be able to start at the top of the screen and flick right and each time you do, you should hear the Difficulty Level, followed by each setting button, then Region, followed by British and American, etc, etc. Instead, what happens is that the Category labels don't necessarily match up with their settings, as they should, almost as though the orientation of the phone is messing up stuff, or something on that order. I do have orientation locked on my phone, so I'm doing Portrait mode only. I'm using iPhone 5 with iOS 6.0.2. Also, I'm not using an external keyboard - just touching the screen for everything. This game seems like it could be quite a bit of fun, if I can just make sense of the darn thing! :) If anyone can help me out, and/or enlighten me as to the best ways to navigate this game, reduce the issues I'm having, etc, I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks In Advance! Ron

I had not played this for a while so checked it out. Went to Configurations but double tapping the Done button did not go back so I went to App Switcher and closed the app. Re-opened it and went to New Game. Set Rotor to Vertical Navigation. The 3 x 3 grid is at top right. I have a clear Loc Dot on my phone at the top right where the Send button is in Mail. This is the spot where the top right corner of the letters is. Then I can flick all four directions to choose the letters. Double tap to choose a letter and it announces if a letter is already chosen. Flick to the bottom right corner of the grid and then down once more to Enter. One flick to the Right is Found and then down to see how many words you have found. the new configurations did hold, though since I changed the minimum word length to 4 and when I entered a 3 letter word it did not take it. I am using iPhone 6S and 9.3. Guess I should contact the developer again about the Done button in the Configuration section. Still no sound when word is correct.
