Accessibility Comments

As with the rest of the street fighter games available, this game is quite accessible when you are fighting, the menus are also quite easy. Over all if you like a fighting game on the go, this might be an app for you.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads most page elements.

Button Labeling

Most buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

There are some minor accessibility issues with this app, but they are easy to deal with.

Other Comments

When you are entering the main menu, depicted by the ultra street fighter iv menu music, you have to put your device in portrait mode. Before you start the game for the first time, a menu with help texts comes up, you have to look in the bottom right corner to quid to the main menu. Don't go into the bottom of the menu because i havent figured out yet how to properly navigate around the whole online battles. If you want to choose arcade mode, look in the top middle of the screen. When you click it, a menu comes up which voice over reads, do your selections there. When you hit OK, you get to the character selection screen, which is not accessible but you can learn how the layout is, you have to hit a character twice to select, than you hit a button at the bottom and the game starts.
Now, turn your device into landscape mode with the home button to the right
When you are on the fight screen, the bottom left is your 8 way directional gamepad, the right bottom is the punches, kicks and focus attacks, above that is a special move button. When you want to issue a ultra combo, hit one of the top right and left corners of the screen, the super combos are more in the middle of the top sides. The pause button is in the middle.
This should give you a general idea, for more questions just drop a comment.

can we use a joystick forit?
if so, it can be much easier...

Hi, yeah, the game has the possibility to use MFI certified gamepads, these don't work in the menus, just for the fights.

Hello: I can manage to get to the fight screen, but I am not sure what to do after that. It seems that the fighters are fighting by themselves when I play. I will do nothing just to see if only the computer player will be fighting, but both fighters are fighting. I also don't know how to tell if I am the one who won the fight. Is this game playable by the blind? If I decided to purchase a controler to play this game what one would be the best to get? Also how much does a controler for the iPhone or iPad cost.

Hi.
No, the fighters shouldn't be fighting them selves, did you do everything I said or are you still in the menu by accident? Because after some time a background video starts with some automated fighting. Well, it depends what controler you want, you just have to search for a controler which has MfI support, but I don't know how to set it up in game.

I was able to get to fight, but I wonder how to be succesfull at this. I don't know how to block, and I don't no how the pad at the bottom left of the screen is supposed to be used. i would like to here a podcast also.

Hi.
The gamepad works like a normal joystick, you have your 4 directions up, down, left and right.
I can't do a podcast at this time, because I am missing the equipment and also I don't really have that much time on my hands currently aswell.

Streetfighter has been one of my favorite games since I can remember. However, playing without physical buttons is difficult. Nevertheless, I have been able to do it and I actually have won some fights. The only trouble I am encountering is selecting players. I wish the developers would make that screen accessible. Fighting is accessible the way it is now. If fighting without physical buttons is a problem, we can just get one of them controllers or joysticks and we're ready to rumble.

Hello.
Any help with the character layout, its hard to grasp.
And in terms of multiplayer, anyone wants to play?

By MaranatĂ  on Monday, June 22, 2020 - 21:51

Sorry, I'm stuck on the first screen, I can't accept the license, the "accept" and "ok" buttons don't seem accessible, even tapping on them they don't work. How can I do?

By Ghaith alghefli on Monday, June 22, 2020 - 21:51

Well, in my case, I asked for sighted assistance to overcome this, you can turn off voice over ant try to find and tap the I agree check mark once, and tapping the OK, all that while voice over is turned off

Is it possible to play this game with a ps4 controler?

If we can play with a ps4 controller or Xbox one, we’ll be set. I also find it a little crazy navigating without vo but could get use to it. Would love to fight online against others. Is this on Mac AppStore as well? Would kill as a computer game

Is there any other street fighter games on the app store?
