You awake in a strange mansion that exists outside of time. You can’t remember how you got here. In your pocket is a curious stone tablet covered in mysterious symbols.
As you explore the manor, you encounter its eclectic staff— all of whom seem to be as trapped as you are, working in the service of “The Master.”
You unearth a series of tapes from a voice you recognize. A girl in trouble. She’s discovered that the Master has a sinister plan she needs to stop, but in order to help her, you must first puzzle your way out of the mansion and back through the doors of time.

Yes, your pointers on the coffee thing did help; I realized I was trying to be too precise.
Diamonds are a girl's best friend (spoiler alert)
As far as I can tell, you absolutely have to split up Cosette and Archie, in order to get her ring.
I'm stuck
So I'm stuck, below there's a spoiler so you might want to avoid it.

I pulled too much the rope in the kitchen, so I can't find the tray anymore.
Where can I find it, or do I have to restart the game?
Don't have to restart!
@Fenrir There are no actions in the game (barring some bug we haven't discovered) that will make the game unsolvable, so you never have to restart the game. If you've only pulled the rope, the tray has gone to the floor above. You need to get upstairs and you'll find another hatch like the one in the kitchen.
Thanks!
Thanks, I finished the game!
Pretty amazing.
Butler puzzle
Spoiler
Can somone explain to me how to find a thermos in order to put sleeping pills? I’ve been pouring the coffee to ground and the chef doesn’t seem to be happy 😭
Spoiler end
Coffee table.
Hi,
From the starting point, move forward 2 times. Thermos should be on the coffee table in the living room.
This game is great
This game is fantastic. I only just tried it, but the voice control is great - it makes the game so much easier to play than most and I love how responsive it is.
So far the puzzles haven't been beyond my limited mental faculties although I'm now a little unsure about what to do. I skim read some of the comments above and it looks like there is a basement which I've not found, so guess I will go hunt for that.
I've had the odd glitch after loading an area and it has gone quiet and become quite unresponsive until I have restarted. Not sure if this is an ai pods thing, or maybe I'm just not patient enough. But a small price to pay for what is a really intriguing game and I hope there are many more parts to come.
It's a shame I had already voted for the Golden Apples or I might have considered this.
Mr. Grieves
If you get stuck anywhere, or just need a tip or two, feel free to send me a private message. Always happy to help with this game.
And you are right, it is a really great game. 😎
@Brian
Thanks very much for the offer. I managed to complete it yesterday so you are off the hook, but I appreciate the offer.
I think they pitched the difficulty really nicely. I'm usually too thick for games like this - I didn't get very far with Brock for example. But I managed to figure out most of this on my own. I used the encyclopedia a couple of times but wish I hadn't as I was just a whisker away from both if I had just stuck at it a little more..
It seemed to work a bit more smoothly without Air Pods, but maybe I just got a bit luckier.
Anyway, great game and I was happy to give them a donation towards hopefully a part two.
Great game
I too finished this game earlier this week. You finished it much quicker than me though, Mr Grieves!
I too recently started experiencing long pauses when I moved between locations. I don't know if it was the game itself or because I started playing with AirPods Pro rather than wired EarPods, but it was an issue I only started experiencing towards the end.
I also found that while VoiceOver works very well on the game's home screen and in settings etc, it was so sluggish as to be unusable on the actual game screen. So I didn't realistically have the option to type rather than speak.
Nonetheless I loved the game and hope we'll get a part two.
Any recommendations for similar games appreciated!
