I think you can only play this for a couple days before you have to buy it to continue.

So far, I like this app very much. It reminds me of the keychain pets I had back in the fourth and fifth grade. Don't even get me started on the huge mess those pets caused in my school, leading to all of those keychain pets getting banned. I spent the three bucks to unlock other pets. Here's my only grip about this app. I thought you would have more pets than three or four to pick from after buying the premium version. Or do you unlock harder pets as you take care of the pets you have/ I remember that's how my keychain one work.ed. You started off with an easy pet, but got a harder one the next time around.

This reminds me of the virtual pet toy games I use to play when I was a kid. I do think the main menu goes like this. Left takes you to different part of the menus like drink, food and so on while the right button takes you to menus like studies game and so on. I'm not sure if this is the way the toys use to work but I vaguely remember that being the case... I think. However I could be wrong on that front. All in all, a fun little game. And yes, I think the main goal here is to simulate the consoles so the way you navigate is no different that of a sighted person. I do think explore by touch should be worked on to find all the buttons but other than that, it's a fun little game.

How do you pull the tab to wake it up

Is it supposed to beep or something to let you know you fed it

You should hear a beep and VO should say as such. But there's like a two second delay.

Yeah I'm not getting anything like that where it actually confirms in any meaningful way that it's been fed or that I've done anything to it. There's an alert thing where it says the lights are off/it's sleeping so I go to turn them on, press enter and nothing. This is super confusing.

Hi there. Your pet will fall asleep on its own and wake up on its own. There's no need for you to interact with the lights option. Your pet's records are a good place to look at their hunger, thirst, education, and other stats.

For anyone who wants to actually have fun knowing what they're choosing and everything, as far as I have gathered the alien is way more accessible than at least the penguin which is what I tried before. It actually says the options you're selecting. Also for anyone who is confused about when it has enough of a certain action, the alert for that action will disappear and the number of alerts will go down. One click of an option doesn't do it, it often needs multiple.

So I’m playing with the free pet and I looked through all the options.
When I press on the air conditioner, it turns on, which is not what I want when my pet complains that it’s cold.
Any help is much appreciated.

After a few days I've learned more about this game. The penguin is the one that's the least accessible which unfortunately for me was the one I tried first. The alien, dinosaur, and fish are equally fully accessible. The fish has two games, both different from the standard game on all other pets. The fish is also more expressive, playing little melodies to show appreciation when you bathe it or change the temperature when needed. The fish is also a better sport, it likes when you win the games, not when you lose.

A new pet was just released with today's update. now you can add cat to the list of pets. As I'm a serious cat lover, I was excited to see this. In addition, the evolution guide can be read by voiceover.

You can now customize the colors of the console and other things. They are labeled now. The help tutorial cthing acts like it's covering the screen so explore by touch is still not working.

Wait so do each pet have different games? I haven't really dived into the full content as I didn't by the premium pack yet but I plan to do that here soon. With that being said, love the new update. VO feels a lot snappier and I do love the fixes that came along with this.

As far as I know, the fish is the only pet with different games. It has a dice game and a game where you have to guess what side it will land on. I think all the other pets play the roc, paper, scissors game.

Just have to say I love this app. Very similar to how I go through menus and select on my OG Tamagotchi I have now. Sounds are even similar.
