Description of App

Ears Jeopardy Match is a fully accessible trivia game inspired by the TV Game Show "Jeopardy".

The game board is laid out as 6 columns of categories, with each column containing 5 clues. You first pick the clue you want, and guess for the correct answer. If your answer is correct, you win the amount of money for that clue. If your answer is wrong, you lose that amount of money.

Ears Jeopardy Match comes with coins to play for free, and then you can purchase packs of trivia questions to continue playing.

Ears Jeopardy Match was suggested by several blind gamers who enjoyed other TV game shows.

All right, I was very excited about this game, however, playing the computer they have, so far, not gotten anything wrong and I am just sitting here waiting to play and am not getting a chance. So, it really doesn't seem like a very fair shot at the game.
It is like watching other people play and I wouldn't pay for that.
I really almost spent the 20 bucks on it until I played the computer and I am stil just waiting......
No point wasting coins to play it if once you miss you never get another turn.

I've played a few more times, let's face it, it is hard to resist! Now I clearly won against Dave, however it said he won. I had 24 out of 27 answers right and he had two answers right, so clearly our friend Dave is no scholar!
But stil it said he had like 1300 points or some6thing. LOL
There is a hidden genius in the group though! Be ware

Love this game and am still thinking about buying the whole thing!
So, a question though, if I don't have an internet connection, does that mean I can't play the games?

Hi,
In the settings there is a setting for maximum number of guesses per turn. I have set this setting to two. I tried it on unlimited and the computer continued to play when it answered correctly without giving me a chance to play. Now with only two guesses per turn I am able to have a chance to play.

I know you can change the skill level of the computer opponents, but you need the upgrade.
I can do the following changes - let me know which people would like:
1) Like in spin and solve, let you limit the number of times the computer can go, even if their answer is correct.
2) Change the computer's skill to be much lower than it is now, by default.

I went through the game to see where that might be happening, and tried to eliminate any problems. I will test it further today, so the next version should work without internet flawlessly. It will probably be about a week before its available.

I'd say maybe making the default computer skill a bit lower might be helpful. It's almost unrealistic the way it is now. I know it shouldn't be easy by any means, but somewhere in the middle would be good. That's the main reason I haven't paid for the game either. I wasn't sure if the paid version would allow us to adjust the skill level, and right now, when i play and miss, the computer just runs away with the rest of the game.

In the settings, there's one for the maximum numbers per-turn, and the lowest appears to be 2. I think in a future version this should be the default, so that the computer player doesn't win every single time. It's not fare to the regular player if they miss a question.

Hi, great game, however yesterday when I was playing it I had a couple of coins left and I started a new game and immediately hit the home button because I couldn't play it at that moment and my phone went completely dead. I could access Siri but voice over wouldn't work. I turned VO off and on via the triple tap and Siri both, asked Siri to open a different ap hoping VO would talk, nothing. I even held down the lock button to try and shut off the phone to reboot it and I couldn't even do that. I phoned myself trying to get the anser button and I couldn't get it. by luck I just locked the pone to wait for my son and pressed the home button and the voice over popped back on and allowed me to unlock the phone. All my aps I tried to open were open. I closed everything and have not opened the game again. I use a 5 S.
anyone else had a crash?

These type of symptoms cannot be caused by an app. Apple simply does not allow that. I recommend completely powering down your phone, recharging it a little, then power it back up again.

Thank you! I will take your advice and try that. I love the trivia game and road trip and spin and solve. Do you use swift to write your games? This is how little I know about IOS. I am a MUD dev.

I use objective c, since swift didn't exist when I started learning the iPhone.
I may switch to swift one of these months.

Hi, I went in to settings and changed the players skill levels to 2 average and 2 good but when I try to play the game no matter who I choose it says that person is a poor player. It's no fun when the computer is always right but it is also no fun when it's always wrong.
I really like your tv type games. I bought the bundles on all of them.
A Press Your Luck game would be great.

There's another setting in the settings screen called competitors are always beginners.
Make sure that is set to OFF.
Also, play the 2 player game, and let me know if the skills are now better.

Thanks for the help. I changed the competitors are always beginners to off in this game and in Feud and played the 2 players games. It helped a lot. Although better in Feud.
Thanks for the fun games.Keep up the great work.
