Description of App

Descend deeper into the dungeon, one step at a time.

Dungeon is a text-based dungeon exploration RPG. Simple controls, deep adventure.

■ Explore the Dungeon
Challenge a dungeon spanning 6 underground floors. Each floor has its own theme—caves, ruins, waterways, the demon realm, forbidden depths, and the abyss beyond. Stronger monsters and rarer loot await as you descend. Watch out for traps, find healing fountains, and aim for the deepest floor.

■ Over 95 Types of Monsters
Slimes, skeletons, dragons, and more inhabit each floor. Defeated enemies are recorded in your codex.

■ Rich Items & Equipment
Over 190 types of items await. Equip weapons, armor, and accessories, then use alchemy to craft powerful gear from collected materials. Enhance your equipment to push its stats even further.

■ Prepare in Town
• Shop: Buy and sell items
• Alchemist: Combine materials into new items
• Dojo: Spend gold to permanently boost your stats
• Guild: Accept quests for rewards
• Stash: Safely store your items

■ Codex & Lore
Encountered monsters and items are recorded in your codex. Collect 100 lore fragments scattered throughout the dungeon and uncover the story of this world.

■ Two Difficulty Modes
• Normal: Return to town anytime. Lose 20% gold and 2 items on defeat.
• Hard: Limited town returns. Lose 50% gold, all items, and EXP on defeat—but all EXP gains are doubled.

■ Perfect For
• Fans of text RPGs and roguelikes
• Players who enjoy progressing in short sessions
• Collectors who love filling out a codex
• Anyone craving retro RPG atmosphere

Pick up and play with one hand. Your next adventure awaits in the dungeon.

Accessibility Comments

Everything here is %100 accessible, text and fairly standard buttons, but the layout could be a little more vo friendly.

Whether in the town or the dungeon, you have buttons for things like the different shops, or different actions at the top, then a dirty great action log, covering most of the screen detailing stuff you do with new entries appearing just after the buttons.
then, down at the bottom ,you have buttons to do things like confirm purchices, loot treasure chests, attack in combat, or advance through the dungeon.

So I often found it necessary to swipe past the buttons and read the top of the log for what was going on, then physically touch the bottom right corner of the screen to get to the buttons to do the next thing or confirm what I was up to.

There are also lots of abreviations, EG the dungeon is labeled F1B1, as in floor one basement 1, whilst g is gold, s is stamina etc.
Nothing that should cause trouble to anyone whose played this style of game before, but still something to be aware of.

Oh, and if you choose to use the options to watch adds to get either 300 gold or 300 xp (which you actually need to do, since you start with nothing, and monsters are much stronger than you), finding the close button on some of them can be a bit of a pest.

You can however pay to remove the adds you see when entering the dungeon itself.

Again, nothing %100 impossible here, but one or two niggles its true.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling

All buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver, but the interface could be easier to navigate and use.

Other Comments

This is pretty bare bones, quests at the guild are more like achievements you do , but fun if you want to smack around some monsters and level up.

There's plenty in terms of crafting, monsters to discover and fights, and like the title says, this is all about the dungeon diving and getting stronger, so if you want a relatively light weight game of slaying, exploring and buying better gear you might enjoy this one.
