It's such a unique gameplay, plus the game itself is adictive! I love everything so far.
How to make the builder happier again? Like she went from hopeful to worried and now saddened. Any way to know what I need to do? Like by mistake I went on the boat, got killed by a bird and she resurrected me. Now I have random beasts killing half of my slaves so I'm desperately playing catch up... But honestly one of the best game I tried, I didn't know it existed! It's so cool.

Yeah, didn't think this game was still going.
Given this was last tested on ios 8 something. lol
But I assume there are issues now?
The post above mentioned issues with saving.
is it still being developed?
At least for bug fixes and the like?

A couple of tips for you, and perhaps spoilers as well.
First, try to do everything yourself. Instead of having your people do everything for you. Eventually this will change the overall personality and behavior of your friend/companion/whatever the lady is.
Second, for an interesting style of gameplay, don't use any weapons except your fists. Sooner or later you will unlock a monk style of gameplay. It is Pretty interesting once it is unlocked, but expect a lot of deaths early on…

Just redownloaded the game and had a look at the What's New section. I can confirm that the game now appears to be saved properly once you quit it from the App Switcher and then reopen it. Other notable changes since I last played it include the following:
  • You have to barter supplies one by one.
  • Supplies you need in the village like leather, teeth etc. are automatically taken out of the thing in which you carry your items during the journey so you don't have to remove them yourself to empty it in order to get more free space or replace those unnecessary items with others.

Some issues I've encountered include:
  • Your stats and location, and the relative positions of nearby landmarks/destinations are not updated properly during a journey, after you leave a certain location and are placed on the map to resume traveling. They are updated once you move one "click" in any direction though.
  • Two-finger double-taps, which are referred to as "magic taps", don't work, meaning you can't pause a fight or access the map while traveling.
  • Announcements during combat like "fists ready" or "heal ready" are not spoken at the right time. I have to wait for some 3-4 seconds to double-tap the relevant button in order to actually be able to perform the action.
