Description of App

Cmd C is an idle clicker game based around programming.

The game is based on collecting as many lines as you can. Once you have enough you can begin buying upgrades at which point the game becomes an idle simulation with prestige and offline support.

The idle game is broken up into chapters. Each chapter progresses the story with different incremental game mechanics.

I was a little confused by this as well. Near the top of the screen you should find three buttons. CMD, C, and V. You need to press each in order repeatedly until you have 100 lines of code, at which point you can buy a mouse. Then you will be on your way.

Has anyone gotten overclock to work? As far as I can see it's not something you can enable with voiceover?

Overclock works fine for me. You have to watch an ad, and then try to find which of the "close" buttons actually closes, but otherwise not had any problems with it.

To go back to the first comment, to get started - always have overclock running if you tolerate the ads. There doesn't seem to be a drawback and it speeds everything up. I found that I only need to alternate between C and V to get points before using the mouse. (Maybe I pressed Cmd once or twice beforehand but certainly not repeatedly)

My question is.... does this ever go anywhere? To start with it sounds like there might be some tiny element of a story, but so far nothing has progressed much. I got as far as options like waterfall appearing which seemed to make the game feel even slower and less fun. I presume if I just keep grinding away, or leave it to auto grind for me, then eventually something else unlocks and happens.

But is it effectively just an endless loop? I guess it's maybe a bit stupid to criticise an idle game for being addictive without being any fun whatsoever, as I think that is typical of the genre, but even so - is this really all there is to it?
