Description of App

Blindfold Pool is an fully accessible audio game that's similar play pool or billiards in a pool hall.

In Blindfold Pool, you first line up shot and then break the rack of balls. Then you and your opponent alternate turns, trying to sink as many balls as possible.

There are several ways to determine which balls to aim for and sink: you can swipe up to get a list of balls and the pockets that the balls have a clear shot to, or you can explore the screen, and then select a ball, and get a list of pockets that are clear shots, or you can explore the screen, and then select a pocket.

After you shoot, you'll hear the balls hitting each other, and you are told which balls landed in which pockets. You can adjust how good your opponent is, and you u can post your high scores to Facebook or Twitter.

Blindfold Pool was suggested by several blind gamers who enjoyed Blindfold Shuffleboard and Blindfold Bowling.

The game includes several in-app upgrades that offer more pool games, such as Straight Pool, Eight Ball and Nine Ball.

Buy the bundle. It's well worth the price.

I suck major at this game but it is very fun. Forgive the typing. I was actually working on the show notes during turns. Lol! I still love this game though as I've played real pool. The chock motion is a bit tricky though but yeah.

Enjoy.

I can line up, or at least it sounds like it. However, i can't seem to control my ball's speed. On the normal tables i can choose how hard or soft i want to shoot with no trouble. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem with the regular pool with the computer I guess keep chocking the stick. I had trouble after a while to.

thanks to the developer for making this game. I love it. I'm still trying to control the speed of the ball

When playing double 8 ball and only 8 black solid remains, it seems like the ball won't move to any pocket, no matter how i or my opponent shoots.

Hi! I've never played real pool, but, as a Blindfold Games fan, I installed Blindfold Pool on my iPhone and I'm very glad I did. I admit I'm not an expert, as, like others, I haven't yet got used to controlling the speed of the ball, so that for me it often goes too fast, but that doesn't stop me enjoying the game: I have played the practice game and the solo game so far, but at some point I will try playing against the computer, even if I end up losing. Three cheers yet again to Blindfold Games for yet another excellent app!

See if that happens again in a new game. If so, please email me directly.

Hello,
I have been wanting a game like this for a very long time. So far so good. The only issue I have is controlling the speed of the ball. When a ball is close to the pocket no matter how little I flick my finger it always tells me I hit it to fast. Even if I just touch the screen and lift my finger up without flicking it at all. Anyone have any suggestions on how to control the speed of a shot?

Thanks,
Greg Wocher

It's just a matter of practice. To shoot very slow, make a long swipe. To shoot very fast, make a short flick.

If you have chalking enabled, and you don't chalk after every few shots, your shots get worse and worse

Hello,
Ah so the longer the swipe the slower the hit. Thank you for clarifying this. This should make things a bit easier. I will be buying the big bundle here soon. Thanks for another great game.

Greg Wocher

Oh. Oops? I did the opisate even on my podcast. Thanks for the little update on that. I probably should update the show notes to reflect that. Lol! Oopsy doodle? Will probably do that when I feel better and am not too busy with meetings. Lol!

Take care to all.

It would be nice if we could have a setting to choose who must break the rack. It could be you, your opponent or random.
