FEATURES

=========

- 40+ rooms to explore: Determine the best card-matching sequence to survive each floor. Keep on the lookout for alternate exits leading down less-traveled paths, and rare artifacts that appear when specific cards are matched. Are you exploring a dark room? In that case you’d better bring a torch!

- 150+ unique, hand-drawn cards to discover: Weapons, armor, and magical items to protect you in the dungeon. Various characters that guide you, teach skills, and present puzzles. Monsters and traps to thwart your progress at every turn. There’s a lot to discover, and each game is a bit different than the last.

- Old-school RPG elements set within an immersive world: Turn-based action, experience levels, quests to complete, and more. We’ve taken elements from all our favorite games of yesteryear and rolled them into Bardcard.

- Beautiful soundtrack created by us: We’ve orchestrated every flute, piano, and xylophone to create a unique realm to adventure in.

- Challenging rogelite system with powerful persistent artifacts: Death is likely unavoidable in this dangerous world. Lucky for you, there are special items and companions that stick with you no matter what happens in the dungeon.

This is a great game! I won't go so far as to say that I like it better than Dawncaster, but it checks all the boxes for me: matching cards, dungeon adventure and very VO friendly. It will be great to play this when I don't have the time or energy for Dawncaster.

You can't go back, if you match the person again on the next floor there's an option to give the py.

I'm really enjoying this one.

It's a bit confusing to call it a roguelike card game, since yes it's roguelike in that you wander into a dungeon and go back to the start when you die, yes there are cards, but you don't make a deck out of them!

My only two miner niggles with the game, are firstly I do wish the enemies battle actions were read out, since if my finger's not in the right place on screen, I have been known to miss them, and secondly, I do wish the intro texts, both when you start the ap for the first time, and when you
begin a new game, were readable or had some sort of explanation, since I'm actually now getting rather interested in the world and why my character is looking for his brother down a set of card filled dungeons :D.

But would highly recommend this one, especially to people who enjoy puzzle games, heck, the matched pair dungeons is a genius idea!

Hi! I have a problem! I’ve gotten through the floors where I’ve found the jacket and the torch but when I get a couple of floors onward both the items disappear. Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks for help in advance!

By Yvonnezed on Monday, November 18, 2024 - 22:05

I doubt they're disappearing. Most things in the game get used up with time and use. for example the jacket when you get hit and the torch as it gives light and when you attack with it. If you don't need it right away, only take it don't equip it right away.

I didn’t know that. Thanks!
