Accessibility Comments

I have found this app to be pretty usable, though it is a lot easier to find things by exploring by touch instead of flicking around the screen. The most difficult part seems to be creating and entering your pin when you log in because the buttons on the keypad are not labelled, so VO just says "button". however, they are arranged like a telephone keypad at the bottom of the screen, so once you find it you can easily log in. If you are in an area that supports mobile payments, this process is totally accessible and I use it all the time. You just tell the cashier that you want to do mobile payment, then you just point your device's camera at the QR code that shows up on the terminal. Sometimes I have to have them help me position my phone, but it works most of the time. My phone vibrates and then I just select the card I want to use and it completes the payment.

I haven't tried ordering ahead yet, but it looks to be reasonably accessible, though again it's a lot easier to do dragging around the screen and split tapping. All the condiments you can put on your sandwich are there, though.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads most page elements.

Button Labeling

Most buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

There are some accessibility issues with this app, but it can still be used if you are willing to tolerate these issues and learn how to work around them.

report the accessibility to the subway app developer. I can't since I don't use this app, i live in the UK so couldn't use it. If you report issues with the app, you might get a response that could help you out. I've done it and got responses which is awesome. Make sure to show them applevis and the for developers section of the site.

The new app is not accessible. That's a good tip Brad.
