Accessibility Comments

This is very nearly usable, but there are enough issues that I wouldn't want to rely on getting what I thought I had ordered!

Finding and selecting nearby restaurants works fine, and browsing their menus is mostly okay - albeit each item on the menu has an element beside it which VoiceOver reads as a long paragraph of gibberish (it's the "Lorum Ipsum ..." text that is commonly used as placeholdere text in sample documents and the like). Apparently, this is not visually displayed on screen, and I'm told that there is no visual clue as to what this element might be. I'm guessing that it's just some screen candy with this as the alternative text. Yuck!

Unfortunately, I'm also told that VoiceOver isn't finding some information that is displayed on the menu, such as the text beside an item that shows it is for a minimum of 2 people. I can only assume that there will be similiar information that I am not told.

Also, there is no clear feedback from VoiceOver when you have selected an item. The only confirmation is that a delete button now appears next to that item. This might be enough if you are ordering just 1 of an item, but is far less reliable if you want more than 1.

For now, I would rather just telephone the restaurant than have to rely on this app. However, if nothing else, it does give access to restuarant menus.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads most page elements.

Button Labeling

Most buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

Some parts of the app are accessible with VoiceOver, but not enough to make it usable.
