Accessibility Comments

This app is very user-friendly with VoiceOver. Along the bottom of the app are four tabs. From left to right, they are Meal Plans (showing the weekly menus and recipes from the different plans you are subscribed to), My Plan (the recipes you've added to your weekly plan), Recipe Box (any favorite recipes you've saved over time), and My Account (to see your subscriptions/paid time left, your account details, and refresh your recipes).
VoiceOver reads all the page elements and all the buttons I have encountered are properly labeled. The shopping list can be easily edited with the Add button (to add things not on your menu that you might need), as well as deleting ingredients you have by swiping up with a finger when you hear an ingredient and double tapping when it says "Delete." My Plan (the weekly plan you create with the recipes you're planning to cook from your plans for the week) can also be deleted in a similar fashion. To add a recipe from a meal plan, you need to double tap on the meal. The recipe will be displayed (totally accessible and read properly by VoiceOver). At the bottom of the screen, below the recipe, you will find four labeled buttons from left to right: Cook Mode (displays each step of the recipe on a separate page in landscape mode), Share Meal (send the recipe to a friend), Favorite (adds the recipe to your recipe box), and My Plan (adds the recipe to your weekly plan).

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling

All buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver and is easy to navigate and use.

Other Comments

EMeals is a subscription-based meal planning app that provides you with weekly recipes catering to your family size and eating preferences. They have many dinner plans and seem to add new ones on a regular basis. Examples of meal plans include gluten-free, paleo, budget friendly, 30-minute meals, classic meals, and heart healthy. Most dinner plans will cater to either a family (3-6 servings) or a couple (1-2 servings). Some of the dinner plans are made specifically for certain grocery stores to take advantage of sales to allow you to save additional money.
Each dinner plan consists of seven dinner recipes. There is also the option to add a healthy breakfast plan (regular or paleo, serving four people), healthy lunch plan (regular or paleo, serving four people), and a dessert plan. The healthy breakfast and lunch plans provide five recipes per week. The dessert plan provides three recipes each week (one crowd-pleaser, one skinny sweet, and one quick and easy treat). The healthy breakfast, healthy lunch, and dessert plans are add-ons and can only be bundled with a dinner meal plan.
You can combine recipes from the different plans and add them to "My Plan" (the app keeps the two most recent incarnations of "My Plan").
The cost for a subscription depends on the term you select, with the annual dinner subscription being the most economical at $5 per month. However, there is no discount on the add-on plans so the prices are the same per month whether you choose to pay quarterly, semiannually, or annually.
They currently offer a two-week trial and accounts can be canceled online, so it is possible to give it a go before actually paying any money at this time to see whether this would be a useful service. They also offer the option to get the meal plans from the website. They are in PDF, so I prefer using the app.

This sounds like just what I need, but it seems impossible to create a trial account through the app. I haven't tried their website. I can fill in all the initial info they ask for, but there's no Next button, or other way to progress, only a clearly marked Back button.

Does anyone have tips, or a solution? I'd really love to make use of this app.
