Accessibility Comments

This app is fully accessible. It looks and works very like the iPod app, which means it is easy to navigate and use.

Can't really say anything more on this app, although testing it has made me want to explore what options there are for using this as a means of streaming media around the house.

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Just the other day I was wishing for a way to get to my computer's iTunes library from the phone. Well this isn't quite that, it only remotely controls iTunes. Sound and picture comes through the computer. It's great though for controlling Apple TV without having to find the remote or be in line with the IR port. You can control the ATV by swiping back and forth on a blank pad with VO on the ATV doing the talking or you can access the textual content for things you have in your iTunes library using the phone's screen. I was a little confused by the interface but I've only just started playing with it. Everything is accessible. I sat in the dining room and controlled an iTunes playlist on my PC through the ATV in the living room.

I don't seem to be able to use the gesture Area. I've tried with Direct Touch both on and off, but neither seems to work. Any ideas? JT

I've noticed the same thing. Probably time to email Apple and hope it gets fixed.
