Accessibility Comments

This app is not accessible at all. Almost all buttons are unlabelled with VoiceOver and some features are based on 2-3 finger swipes that doesn't work with VoiceOver. This could be really great app for visually impaired, it would allow controlling all home electronics, including Philips HUE lightning.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads a few page elements.

Button Labeling

Few buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

Some parts of the app are accessible with VoiceOver, but not enough to make it usable.

I just downloaded the app and I noticed some unlabeled buttons when you first open the app.

does anyone know if this app is now accessible? Or if there is an alternative? I am thinking about purchasing the Logitech harmony hub or harmony keyboard with hub but I don't want to get it if the app isn't accessible. I can't get past the screens to set up the hub which I don't have, but the screens seem accessible initially. Strangely, on Amazon, the keyboard with hub is cheaper than just the hub itself so does anyone know if the hub which comes with the keyboard is perhaps an older model or something? Thanks

I'm also thinking of purchasing a harmony hub, but wondering about the accessibility of this app, since the last post about it was from 2 years ago. If anyone has any inside into this, please comment here.
Thanks so much

I've just ordered the harmony hub but I'm hoping I'm not going to regret it given the comments above. Does anybody have any further thoughts as to whether this is worth it or not? I am in the UK and will be using it with Alexa, sky plus, Samsung smart TVs, Yamaha sound bar and my iPhone. I gather the functionality with Alexa isn't as good in the UK as it is in the United States

I have started the setup process and it has successfully found my Samsung TV but then I receive a message saying that if I want to set up more devices when the message is closed press on at devices. However, I don't seem to be able to close this message and pressing or double tap and holding on add devices seems to have no effect. Can anyone help? I have tried to double tapping everywhere on the screen with no success.

Hi, I need to really revise this app‘s rating on Apple this. There is very little that is not accessible, at least once you figure it out. I’d be more than happy to help with any set up or issues you may have with harmony and the app. Feel free to email me :)

I can't believe how disappointed in Logitech I am at this moment. I have bought keyboards, speakers, etc. with no accessibility issues. I would have saved myself a headache by searching for this post ahead of time.
I purchased a Harmony Hub for my tv and components. I created account and added hub with no issues. The next screen is adding devices. Voice over doesn't activate, or interact with any buttons on the screen. There's also a window which can't be closed. This prevents you from moving to the next screen.
I emailed the CEO. Executive relations contacted me within an hour. I was told that he was checking with developers why no voice over compatibility. They could possibly remotely add devices. No promises!!
I can't believe the issues posted here haven't been corrected in 5 years. A major company like this not providing the most basic accessibility in 2018 is just mind boggling.
After tremendous research, not many products in this field. For channel changing with Alexa being my biggest requirement. I know about the Fire Cube, but that's redundant on certain features with my Toshiba Fire tv.
The web version runs the same as app, so no better experience. I would not recommend Harmony products. Unless you have sighted help for setups and disconnects.

Lots of contradictory experiences. If it works, how about a setup guide? W
