Accessibility Comments

Despite the current developer, Library Ideas, LLC, crowing about their accessibility statement, this app cannot be fully used. The Hamburger menu, the main menu, does not open upon double tapping. There are many clickable elements that don't appear as buttons or other clearly defined elements. All the buttons on the app have annoying extra verbiage added to them, like the developer couldn't decide what to call the button or element. This app can be tolerated, but this isn't up to my accessibility standards by a mile.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads a few page elements.

Button Labeling

Few buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

Some parts of the app are accessible with VoiceOver, but not enough to make it usable.

Other Comments

If you want a free streaming alternative to Spotify and if you want to use your local library more, this is a fantastic option. The website is much better in terms of usability and accessibility but even that has problems. Still, sound quality is decent. Downloads are in MP3 format and they appear to be in a high quality.

If you use non-resident library cards, such as me, you need to enter the zip code where your non-resident library card resides if you want to use this app.
