This is somewhat accessible but can be used. Crackle has a terrible record of fixing something to only to go broken in the next version.

VoiceOver reads most page elements.

Most buttons are clearly labeled.

The new v3.0.0 has now made this inaccessible. Really a darn shame as this was once most accessible and great to use. What's New in Version 3.0.0 * Completely redesigned based on feedback from our 11 million users * Exclusive mobile app access to the newest episode of Seinfeld's COMEDIANS IN CARS GETTING COFFEE, with guest star Alec Baldwin Thursday 8/16 at 6pm EST through Monday 8/20 * Easier to discover your favorite movies and shows * Watch on your TV via Airplay or HDMI out * Now playing: THE FAN, S.W.A.T., MR. DEEDS, SNATCH, and more

It used to be this app had the title of the movie with the rating and the length of it. I wouldn't call this app inaccessible, because if you click on the gibberish of each movie, like 654ghkl; you get the actual movies, and you will actually get the name of the movie along with the usual play button plus information about the movie. What I was doing to make the app on my phone more accessible, is after I know what the movie is, I scrubbed two fingers on the screen to go back, and label the weird gibberish representing each movie. this is done by double tapping with two fingers and holding onto the screen, here a weird sound indicating that I must label the element. I delete the weird gibberish written there, and write the actual title of the movie. This is very helpful, to do it for at least 10 movies. But who has the time to label all of the movies on this app. They must make it more accessible to us. They don't think that blind people actually watch TV like everybody else!
Yes, I suppose you could take the time to relabel all of those moves and shows if you want. However, be advise when an update comes out for this app that all of your hard work will only be erased. So I admit it can be used if you really want to figure out everyone of those gibberish buttons but it is very close in being borderline of being usable. So I will make the proper changes above based on our discussion.

Speaking of labeling elements, I wish there was a way that they could be a share point exchange for all iOS voiceover users to give the sheriff the labels that people have made for certain elements in certain applications.

Actually this problem is very annoying! The Crackle is a very good service, but they should consider that the blind do not use Smartphones, Tablets or don't watch television... We will do everything possible to correct this problem. I have contacted. Help me too, please! We will contact them via email, Twitter, Facebook... I found an email address to contact with them, but I'm not sure if this address is valid. But I sent an email to them and got no error message. Suppose it is working. ios@crackle.com Send Tweets to the Crackle reporting the problem: www.twitter.com/crackle @crackle We will indicate the Crackle to the campaign of the month!

Hmmm, lots of blind folks I know use smartphones, so i'm not sure where that came from?

Crackle is now also available on Apple TV, so if you have an account simply sign in and give it a test. Things appear to be labled, just not sure how accessible it is. Perhaps someone in the Applevis community can let us know. I don't want to sign up for something if it's not going to work if I don't have to.

This app sounfs fantastic, but does it make it easy to get to the described video content? I saw on their website how to get closed-captioning, but nothing about video description. Thanks, June

I downloaded the app because I read about it on here and saw the jibberish. I guess it just goes to show that just because an app is accessible doesn't mean we can rely on it staying that way except those developers who have committed to accessibility and are active applevis community members reading our complaints, comments and suggestions for which I am very thankful.

It is great to see that the accessibility for VoiceOver users are back and working. In their last version. It was almost completely unusable. In this version is it is fully accessible as far as I can tell. So if you spot any thing unusable. Please feel free to drop a comment.

What's New in Version 4.1

• Rebuilt from the ground up and optimized for iOS7
• Improvements made across multiple areas including navigation, video playback and content discovery
• Enhanced Closed Captioning experience
