Accessibility Comments

The app does not have any VO Router actions in the version that I tested, but at least everything is labeled, and the app is very easy to navigate and even easier to use without the extra VO niceties like router actions. There is, however, a lot of swiping. In the episode list and in the settings area in particular, controls are on their own lines. Despite this, the app could be a fantastically accessible Podcast app with a little time and extra VoiceOver care.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling

All buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver and is easy to navigate and use.

Other Comments

This app is very minimalist, but that also means there is no bloat. Unlike others, this podcast app can search multiple podcast directories and is also open source, and doesn't feel bloated when running like other podcast apps I've encountered. If you listen to a lot of fiction podcasts though, this app really doesn't have fiction podcasts in mind. For example, all podcasts appear to sort episodes newest to oldest by default and the app plays episodes in reverse chronological order, which means that you'll have to manually add fiction podcast episodes to the cue in the order you want them for seamless listening.
