This app is accessible enough to be used, but it does need some improvements. Buttons could use labeling, or correcting. It also unfortunately does not say if you are correctly lined up with acard, you have to do a "try and see" process.

As of nearly May 2021, this app still isn't as accessible as it could and should be. Based on Seeing A I and similar apps which offer camera guidance, this one could offer some beeps or something to let a visually impaired user know when they had the camera properly on the card. As it is, it's a very much "trial and error" process, with lots of "error". I suppose if one purchases the premium version, they could then play with camera distance and eventually get it working, but that is by no means a "good enough" for recommending this app to any visually impaired person, even if they have some usable sight. There is zero excuse in 2021 for all these sighted developers who remain ignorant of a market as large as the visually impaired, who, I'm sorry, do receive/encounter business cards. It is quite a laborious process selecting, copying and pasting bits of information from other visually impaired recognition apps. Microsoft could extinguish this app for the visually impaired if they added a feature to Seeing A I to import business cards. Unless this app improves, I will be cancelling my annual subscription, which has allowed me to play with scanning as many business cards as many times as I like in order to best evaluate this app. My recommendation to all visually impaired is to find some other way to get your business card contacts into your phone. Don't waste your money on this piece of garbage. Which, by the way, in the Settings, seems to be trying to "up sell" you into something called "Sales Force" given that there is a login which is associated with that entity. There are better, more "up front" ways to inform users of additional offers without trying to "trick" them into buying into something they may not even need, so this is another black mark against this app. For far cheaper, I will simply scan cards with Seeing A I or the like, then manually type contact information into a phone contact using a nice Bluetooth keyboard I already have and use for multiple purposes, or wait until someone designs something more user-friendly for the visually impaired.
